The Museum will:

  • Post signage at the entrances to the grounds and the Museum stating that no one with a fever or symptoms of COVID 19, or a known exposure to a COVID 19 case in the prior 14 days is permitted onto the grounds.
  • Post signage throughout the site in compliance with state guidelines to museums to provide public health reminders regarding distancing, gatherings, mask requirements and staying home for those who feel sick.
  • Mark a 10-foot perimeter around unmasked performers and the stage to ensure that all musical acts are performed safely.
  • Mark a 10-foot perimeter around the announcers for the airshow at any time when they are unmasked.
  • Make sure all shared items between performers or guests are cleaned and disinfected between use.
  • Make sure that routine cleaning of high-touch surfaces followed inside the Museum extends to high-touch surfaces around the campus over the weekend.
  • Make a conscious effort to reduce points of congregation by removing interactive components, and keeping them switched off in the Museum.
  • Create a guest flow plan of modified queue lines anywhere that they are likely to occur. This will help guests avoid bottlenecks or pinch points ensuring that they are able to flow.
  • Install visible markers in queue lines to aid guests in maintaining 6 feet of separation.
  • Create visible delineations along the flight line to aid guests in maintaining separation during flying performances.
  • Create and announce physical distancing reminders throughout the day, as well as reminders about mask use.
  • Separate entrance and exit points, with separate fast-lanes for online ticket purchases to reduce congestion.
  • All seating areas in the museum will remain configured to preserve social distancing between groups from different households.
  • Will make sure that on-site retailers and vendors follow the requirements as outlined in the guidelines for businesses document provided by the state.
  • Employees working in customer facing areas will be required to wear face coverings over their nose and mouth.
  • Hand washing and sanitization stations will be provided across the venue.
  • The venue is being laid out to provide an abundance of space for guests, with maximum number of participants being significantly lower than the carrying capacity of the associated spaces as defined by Executive Order. (Less than 30% of the 40 square feet per attendee requirement).
