YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
The Military Aviation Museum is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law. We gladly welcome and appreciate charitable donations from individuals and corporate entities. You can safely and easily make financial donations through our secure online portal, or call in your donation to (757) 721-7767.
Your donation will ensure that future generations will learn about the history of military aviation and the wide variety of historic aircraft flown during the first half century of flight. The Military Aviation Museum is thankful for your contributions and support.
The Military Aviation Museum welcomes and encourages charitable donations to its collection of artifacts, memorabilia, and objects of significance to military aviation, particularly relating to the first fifty years of flight. As a general policy, the museum does not accept objects on permanent or long-range loan. The museum is not inclined to accept for its collections: aircraft models, VHS tapes, non-artifacts or items unrelated to military aviation 1903-1953. On a limited basis, the museum may accept items outside of these parameters for special exhibitions or for use in fundraising. If you would like to donate to the museum, please contact the director at 757-721-7767 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Leading Edge Circle
The museum launched The Leading Edge Circle in 2014, to recognize donors who help support the museum and its operational aircraft. The sight and sounds of these historical aircraft taking to the sky bring a crucial part of our nation’s history to life. Donations to this program help keep the great warbirds maintained for flight and also add artifacts and buildings to our growing collection.
Leading Edge Circle donors are recognized for their support of the museum on a special donor display as well as in the museum’s annual report.
